Hello EveryBody, do you know if activiti is actually integrated in Alfresco? I'd want to design documental business objects with Alfresco and execute activiti workflows on these BOS. It's very important for us to have this.

Hi,

The implementation of the Alfresco Workflow API is nearly finished, just shifting off the last corners on a development-branch of Alfresco. Once the full API is implemented and covered by REST- (share), Integration- and unit-tests, the integration-branch will be merged to HEAD. This will be happening in the near future.

The only concrete thing I can say about timing is that it will be shipped in Alfresco community version Swift, no doubt.

frederik, could elaborate on what kind of integration will be provided.
I've created an Alfresco Dashlet that connects to Activiti and allows the execution of a workflow.

Hi,

Curently, Activiti is used as an implementation component of the WorkflowService (org.alfresco.repo.workflow.WorkflowComponent, org.alfresco.repo.workflow.TaskComponent). So all workflow-features (starting workflows, task lists, …) in Explorer UI and Share UI can be used with activiti underneath.

All default processes (adhoc, review, pooled review, parallel review, …) will be available by default in the alfresco-distribution (Project Swift).
