Account lockout after number of incorrect password attempts

Is it possible for Alfresco Share to lock an account after a number of incorrect password attempts?

No, by default Alfresco does not have this feature. But if you connect your Alfresco to an external authentication system, like for example Active Directory, you might have such feature there and achieve the same result.
