Access alfresco from CIFS on the server itself

Hello all,

I was wondering if it's possible to map alfresco as a network drive on the server itself.
I am able to see the server alias but i can't map it using the admin user and password.

Everything is ok on the client machines but i am having problem on the server itself.

The reason why i need this is because i am using other applications installed on the server that do OCR and compression of the files in some of the folders.

I am using Alfresco 4.2 Community Version.

We can  map a folder as a network drive on the server itself ,so it's feasible in theory to map alfresco as a network drive on the server itself.What problem did you get?
