AAAR Reporting Solution

Hey Mr. Corti,

About a month ago or close to it I came across your reporting solution add-in for Alfresco. I have to say I'm quite impressed with this solution and know that we can implement it in our business model. So first of all thank you so much for doing this!

My question now is AAAR still in development or is it more appropriate to say that it is production ready? The reason I ask is that if I use this solution to do reporting it would become essential in error free analysis for our documents. This ties into government funding that we receive so a reporting solution has to be on par.

Currently we have a reporting solution that didn't involve Alfresco so currently that method is being used. Now that we have moved to Alfresco (which by the way all my users are loving it) a more streamline approach for reporting is going to be needed.

First of all thank you for the feedback.

The AAAR is an open source solution with a community release. I don't consider AAAR in a development state but the solution is distributed as is with no warranties or enterprise support from my side. On the other hand, I'm currently receiving good feedback from the community and in the next future, I would like to improve features and applications.

If you and your organization will be agree on that model, I think AAAR could be what you are looking for. From my side, I'm interested on your application to make the AAAR even better.

I am configured AAAR reports with alfresco, and i also configured google authentication with alfresco, Login process working fine, but Login users through google authentication not came in audit_login users report, only alfresco users came in that reports.., any solution please help me

There aren't apparent reasons for this behaviour but I suggest to share a more detailed use case.

It seems a problem with the column 'values' and a long data but I need help with that issue.
How can I find the table and increase the column size? (is that the correct solution?).

Hi all,

I solved the issue increasing the height of the column 'values' (Changing from VARCHAR(5000) to VARCHAR(9000)) in the table 'stg_audits'.

Hi Agg,

Your is the right solution.
In any case, I suggest you to upgrade AAAR to the latest release because this issue has been solved.
In particular, during this days, the v4.0 has been released with a relevant improvement on the extraction job.
