Hello.

I'm looking for a parser for ContentModel.xml.

I've tried to connect to svn://www.alfresco.org/alfresco looking for it,
but not success connect yet.

Any idea?

Thanks.

What exactly are you trying to achieve?

Hello

The problem that i'm trying to solve is that resultsets obtained with alfresco 2.2 web services
give us properties' qnames but we're interested also in properties' titles.  And there is no way
to obtain titles of properties in Alfresco using web services (isn't true?)

The same ocurrs when we want to list allowed values of restrictions.

So we have decided to parse a copy of our ContentModel.xml in our client.

Thanks.

I wanted to say qnames of properties and titles of properties.

Sorry for my English.

The Web Services API isn't my area, so I've moved the topic to the correct forum where you'll get more help.

I doubt you need to manually parse the contentModel XML however. Have you seen the wiki area for Web Services?

Thanks,
Mike

Hi vta,

You should use the Dictionary Web Service : http://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Dictionary_Web_Service
An example of how tu use it was provided a few days before in this forum : http://forums.alfresco.com/en/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=15612

You won't get property title in resultset, but you will be able to get it.
