5.0 Community: Help importing tree from file system

I am looking for the simplest way to import a large volume of files from a directory tree. I read that it can be done from the web UI, but I do not see how to do it.

Have you tried using the Bulk Import Tool? See <a href="http://docs.alfresco.com/community/concepts/Bulk-Import-Tool.html">the docs</a>.
