1.2 RC1: Delete 1.1 User

I try to upgrade the 1.2, and the good this, 1.2 automatically can use 1.1 database, but the user are deleted all.

how can be?

We have done many 1.0+ to 1.2 rc1 upgrades, and have never experienced any users going missing.

Can you give us some specifics about what you did to perform the upgrade please?
