Search on Community has taken an exciting leap forward. With Search V2, we’re delivering a smarter, faster, and more intuitive experience—one that directly reflects the feedback of our customers, partners, and teams. 

Your input has been essential to every step of this project. From early requests for smarter phrase recognition to calls for unified search across platforms, your voices have guided our direction. Thank you for your collaboration, your ideas, and your commitment to helping us make Community stronger. 


What’s New

Search V2 introduces a smarter, faster, and more connected way to find information across Hyland Community. Recent updates include:

  • Smarter search logic: Understands full phrases, supports Boolean operators, and handles common typos with fuzzy matching.
  • Cleaner results: Simplified filters, improved spacing, and clearer metadata make it easier to scan and refine results.
  • Expanded content coverage: Unified results now include TSKB articles, bulletins, product overviews, technical notices, and newly added content types like:
    • Articles: Informational and instructional content
    • Release Training: Training tied to product releases
    • Connect Blogs & Forums: Peer-to-peer insights and discussions (Note: Search results will not include User Group content)
    • Demos: Product walkthroughs and visual guides

What’s Next

This is just the beginning. Search V2 continues to evolve, with new features and content types planned for upcoming releases. Here are a few to look forward to:

  • Search Term Proximity: Ranking improvements will better reflect how closely search terms appear together.
  • University Content: Training and educational materials from Hyland University will be added.
  • VPATs: Accessibility documentation will become searchable.
  • Clickable Metadata Filters: Users will be able to filter results by clicking directly on metadata labels.
