On May 22, product documentation from Docs.Alfresco.com, Docs.Hyland.com and Support.Hyland.com will be consolidated into a single destination: Docs.Hyland.com.

This transition is part of Hyland’s broader effort to simplify and improve the digital experience by creating more connected, intuitive and consistent destinations for customers.

As we move closer to launch, we want to help customers understand what is changing, what to expect and how to prepare ahead of the transition.

What’s changing on May 22

Beginning May 22:

  • Product documentation currently hosted across multiple documentation experiences will be available through Docs.Hyland.com
  • Documentation from Docs.Alfresco.com and Support.Hyland.com will be consolidated into the refreshed Docs.Hyland.com experience
  • Existing documentation URLs may redirect to updated locations
  • Some navigation paths and URL structures may change

This transition is designed to reduce fragmentation and make it easier to find the documentation you need in one place.

What customers should expect

While the overall documentation experience will remain familiar, there are a few important changes customers should be aware of.

Redirects will be in place

Existing documentation URLs from Docs.Alfresco.com, Docs.Hyland.com and Support.Hyland.com are expected to redirect automatically to updated locations after the transition.

Redirects are planned to remain in place for up to two years to help support continuity during the migration. Read more about our redirect strategy here.

Some bookmarks and links may change

Because multiple documentation experiences are being consolidated into a unified platform, some URLs and navigation structures may change.

We recommend customers begin reviewing and updating:

  • Frequently used bookmarks
  • Internal knowledge base references
  • Training materials
  • Saved documentation links
  • Customer-facing enablement resources

Search and navigation may look different

As documentation is consolidated into a unified experience, customers may notice updates to:

  • Search results
  • Navigation patterns
  • Filtering behavior
  • Product grouping and organization

These changes are intended to simplify how documentation is discovered and accessed across products.

URL mapping resources are now available

To help customers better understand how documentation URLs are evolving, we have published a URL Pattern Mapping resource within the Community Project space.

This resource includes:

  • Example URL transition patterns
  • Redirect behavior guidance
  • Sample before-and-after URL structures
  • Platform-specific migration examples
  • Additional transition notes and expectations

These examples are intended to provide general guidance and visibility into how documentation routes are changing as content moves into the consolidated Docs.Hyland.com experience.

Because documentation is being migrated into updated backend publishing structures, some URLs may vary depending on product area, content type or migration requirements. Existing redirects are expected to help preserve continuity during the transition period.

What is not changing

This transition focuses on simplifying structure and access — not changing how customers use documentation.

Core documentation capabilities will remain available, including:

  • PDF generation
  • Saved and bookmarked content
  • Existing GitHub developer workflows

Important product notes

Alfresco documentation

Hyland Alfresco documentation from Docs.Alfresco.com and Support.Hyland.com will move into Docs.Hyland.com.

GitHub will remain the primary destination for developer-focused workflows and repositories.

Nuxeo documentation

Doc.Nuxeo.com is not part of this May 22 transition and will remain unchanged for now. Additional updates related to Nuxeo documentation will be shared in a future phase currently planned for the second half of 2026.
