I couldn't find any documents for syncing the user photo from the LDAP directory.
Do alfresco support it OOTB? If yes then what property of user object in LDAP directory it syncs with?
If not then please suggest the step add customization.

It's not supported OOTB.
It's something I have done by customizing the LDAP sync subsystem
IIRC it's somewhere within cggh-alfresco-extensions/cggh-ldap-platform-amp at master · cggh/cggh-alfresco-extensions · GitHub
N.B. This does other stuff and hasn't been updated since version 5.1 - make sure you understand what it's doing if you want to use it
(I'm not sure what the future implications for this will be in the context of the identity service)
