Subfolders for Create document from Template

Hi folks,

We're having an issue with the "Create document from template" feature. We're starting to have a lot of templates, 50 or more for some users and this menu becomes unusable because it's too long.

We would like to organize this menu into subfolders but it appears that it's not possible from default.

Do you know if there's an option to activate reading folders from the Template Directory in the Dictionary ?

You can do some of this with permissions if it fits your use case. Check this blog out and see if it helps: https://angelborroy.wordpress.com/2017/08/22/node-templates-by-site-in-alfresco/

Alternatively, you can use the folder templates and then protect some of the files within them with security using something similar.

Smart folders might help, but I haven't tried this.
