I am using Alfresco Community Edition and I want to send emails to given IDs. Is it possible?
As I am new to this platform, please send me the steps from scratch. Please help me out.

I have made all the required changes in the alfresco-global.properties. But still no emails have been sent or received, though no error is being prompted but still I'm not able to work out properly with the mail issue.

could you post your anonymized alfresco-global.properties? Maybe we can go through the config step by step.
What's you environment/server OS?
