Searching trial version of Alfresco not working as expected

I am testing the default files loaded into the repository and was not able to do a search on 'email'.  I tried 'email*', '*email*' but it would not find the email templates found in the Data Dictionary/Email Templates directory of the repository.  Shouldn't these files be searchable by name?

AFAIK, the default search simply has an exclusion filter for all content inside Data Dictionary because that is rarely useful for the majority of users and only serves to confuse them...

Thank you Axel.  When I copied the contents of the Data Dictionary to another directory I was able to search the files.  Maybe this would have been more obvious to me if I had permissions to ALFRESCO_SEARCH_ADMINISTRATORS security control. - cheers
