Hi everybody, in my company we use Alfresco only as document repository: we access the files using the nodeID directly, without performing searches. So I am wondering if it is a good idea to remove Solr from our Alfresco 5.2 setup and save some resources...?
If it is an OK idea, is it enough to remove tomcat/conf/Catalina/localhost/solr4.xml, solr .war file and set index.subsystem.name=noindex in alfresco-global.properties?
