Hello,
We rolled out a few new Windows 11 machines and encountered some issues.
1. When users connect to Alfresco, they now have to log in instead of automatically log in
2. And this is the more urgent issue since it's impacting our business process. We are unable to map a drive to Alfresco WebDAV. When we try to map it, it prompts with a network login screen. Even if we enter our network login, it won't connect and keeps re-prompting.
If the user uses an older upgraded machine, it's fine. We can't seem to figure out what's causing the issue.
Thanks,
Keat

Another thing you might try is resetting your network settings on the new Windows 11 machines. Sometimes, doing a factory reset can clear up persistent issues.

You can find a detailed guide on how to do that here: https://operatingsystems.info/how-to-factory-reset-pc-windows-11/ . This might not fix the Alfresco problem directly, but it can help rule out any network configuration issues.
Also, check if there are any updates or patches from Microsoft for WebDAV issues in Windows 11. There might be a known issue or a fix available.

Dealing with new tech rollouts can be a rollercoaster! At my previous job, we had a similar issue when upgrading to new machines and encountering login quirks. It turned out to be a configuration hiccup with the new OS causing authentication issues with Alfresco and WebDAV. For Alfresco, have you checked the user permissions and authentication settings? Sometimes, newer OS versions can be more stringent with security protocols, affecting automatic logins and drive mappings. I've found https://bnhsoftware.com/ helpful for troubleshooting tech setups like this. They often have practical tips and user feedback that could shed light on your issue.
