How to do migration in case of:

1>WINDOWS MACHINE TO UBUNTU MACHINE

It's right decision. Never tried by myself, but theoretically:

1. Install clear Alfresco 5.2 on ubuntu.
2. Stop windows server
3. Make full backup (indexes, database, content) of windows Alfresco.
4. Restore backup on new server. If it is nesecery correct files permissions.
5. Copy configuration files and install your alfresco modules.
6. Start the new server.
