how to update history task varibles i dint find any API where we can update the varibles of task related to history.

i have completed a task and then i want to modify one of the variable from that . i dint find any direct api where we can update the varible for history task.

historyService.createHistoricTaskInstanceQuery().list().get(0)

or can you give any other way to update the history task variable
