How to send notifcation when an instance of a multi instance task is late?

Hello;

I have a process containing a parallel multi instance task and i'm trying to send mail notification when one instance of this task is late. this notification must be sent to the owner of that instance to let him know that he should complete the instance because the task is blocked.

Is there any way to do that?
