How to format a data table col?

I have a data table with some columns (fistname, lastname, email, ecc...), one of the attribute of data is a string like this

3|Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I)|NNZJBV50Q01U131K|69253486891|06625|3 Esch Terrace|66564|León|lmingottifw@noaa.gov|Staff Scientist||lmingottifw@google.ca|888.5183184620|

so I need to parse the string before display in the column.

How can I format data of this colum?
