How to delete custom type created via content model manager

Hi Team,

We have created one custom content model using model manager and added "only aspects" in that.

Have created custom behaviour to add all the properties of aspects to be added on document addition, that's working fine.

During the creation of "new Aspect", accidentally pressed "new custom type" button and type(dt:whitePaper) is created.

Now, i am not able to delete that type and it says that we can't delete the type with active content model.

Want to add the aspect of the same name(dt:whitePaper) but that is not allowed in alfresco's content model.

I have around 1 million documents in the repository with the aspects that are created earlier.

So,removing that aspect and deactivating of model is not possible in production environment.

Is it possible to delete that custom type from DB and create the aspect with same name?

Is there any other approach?

Thanks in advance!
