Different versions of files for rule and scheduler in antivirus action.

Hi

I am using Antivirus   for scanning of files for antivirus using clamav and  HowHow to Schedule a Custom Action? for scheduling the same action in alfresco and both rule and scheduler are working fine.

But,one problem that I have encountered is that when the antivirus-action is running as a rule,the version of the infected file after scanning by clamav remains 1.0.So,due to this, I am facing the duplicate file name issue when I am trying to upload the file with the same name inside the folder but when I have scheduled the same action using scheduler to run at a specific tym,the version of the infected file after scanning by clamav becomes 1.1.

I have tried by inserting the logs in the Java class to check why this is happening but in both(scheduler and rule)case,the logs are same.

I am unable to figure out why this is happening.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The different behaviour could be explained by the fact that the scheduled action is going to be executed always as the same user, much probably admin or system.

Folder rules are executed as the current logged in user.

Can you check that?

This is not the solution, but can give you some ideas on where to look for.
