Much the same as asked and answered here https://hub.alfresco.com/t5/alfresco-content-services-forum/indexing-only-works-if-i-upload-the-file... already, I am experiencing a similar issue.
I am running Alfresco 6.2 community edition. If I upload PDFs via the Web-UI, everything works fine, I can right away search for text that is in the PDF itself (OCRed PDF).
If I upload the very same file via the REST api, that does not work. (i.e. I am not using a bulk importer plugin or something like that).
I have already read the noted question and its solution above, but I wouldn't know what to put into that "contentPropertyRestrictions.whitelist" configuration parameter.
Steps to reproduce:
* Take any OCRed PDF
* Upload it via the REST API
* Try to search for any content inside the OCRed PDF using the Web-UI.
I have alternatively tried to work around this issue by re-indexing every night, following a guide such as https://www.zylk.net/en/web-2-0/blog/-/blogs/performing-a-full-reindex-with-solr-for-alfresco-ecm , but even that doesn't help somehow. (i.e.: I cannot see any effect of that except for a bad performance while starting the service)
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
