I'm having a problem with my alfresco instance. It can't preview docx, pptx, txt, etc., files.
I'm using
- CentOS Linux release 7.5.1804 (Core)
- alfresco-4.2.c.
Tomcat and soffice are properly running.
Here attached some screenshot.

Hi,
Could you please check out this link?
Preview of Word/Excel/PowerPoint files doesn't work
Maybe that will help you.
Thanks,

Tried that, still not working. Even PDF files, alfresco can't view them.

Are you able to reach that document using the Node Browser?
If you can, then check its details, and see if the renditions for preview and thumbnails are there.
I am not sure if this is related or not, but you have lots of errors related with alfrescoReporting. I guess this is a custom module developed by you.
And just to understand, when did the error started to appear?
Have you installed any addon recently?
I see you have the alfviral addon installed, and it has detected some infected files:

Isn't there by any chance that it had removed your files?
I am asking this because I don't know the behaviour for when it detects infected files, but I think it is worth checking for this.

Any updates? Just 75 views? I expected more on this forum. smh.
