Could you please share the steps or document how to set up and configure alfresco HA.

Also Is it possible to run the inbound email when using HA?

Running an email server on the cloud, what are the risk factors, what can be done to limit?

Yes, it is possible to use inbound email when using HA. Your email servers can send traffic to the load-balancer and the load-balancer can send that traffic to the inbound SMTP listener on Alfresco listening on port 1025.
