The first time I visited Lisbon, I emerged from an overnight flight with 0.01 hours of sleep. Apparently, I found a Russel Crowe and Ryan Gosling movie so hilarious, I needed to watch it twice.
So, I wasn’t quite with it when it was time to figure out the train ticketing system. Luckily, my wife was able to successfully complete the transaction as I wandered off in a daze, tempted by the wonderful smell of cod fritters wafting over me.
After we made it to the city and passed out for a few hours, we had some wonderful days exploring Lisbon. All while I ate as many cod fritters as I could.
