Alfresco with integrated Activiti BPM
On Tuesday 19th April Alfresco launched Alfresco Community 3.4.e, the latest release of Alfresco. This version includes a preview of integration with the Open Source Activiti Business Process Management (BPM) platform (read the press release ).
Activiti is a lightweight workflow and Business Process Management (BPM) platform targeted at business people, developers and system admins. Its core is a super-fast and rock-solid BPMN 2.0 process engine for Java. It's open-source and distributed under the Apache license.
This preview release is being made available to enable early adopters to experience Activiti working within Alfresco. The full production ready release will be made available later this year.
