To make the development process simpler, the Alfresco team consolidated several repositories into a single one: alfresco-communty-repo. The new repository brings together code historically in alfresco-core, alfresco-data-model, alfresco-repository, alfresco-remote-api and repository specific tests and war file creation from acs-community-packaging. They exist as sub projects within the Maven Reactor and still create the same artifacts.

The alfresco-core, alfresco-data-model, alfresco-repository and alfresco-remote-api projects have been archived with their code incorporated into alfresco-community-repo to simplify ongoing development. The same artifacts are still produced by the new project. For more information, please see the new project’s README.md file.

At the same time, we are also consolidating our deployment script repositories, so that we can maintain common deployment mechanisms between Enterprise and Community editions. The original acs-community-deployment repository will be archived soon, as it is being replaced by the consolidated acs-deployment. Please use the latter for the latest deployment artefacts.

We will move the open Github Issues linked to the archived repositories into the new project in the coming days. We will bulk close the open PRs so we ask you to re-open your PRs in the new repositories if they are still relevant.

This is another step towards a better and easier collaboration with the Alfresco community.

We apologize for the delayed communication on this. Due to our recent acquisition and some reorganization within Alfresco this got missed.
