Relating Documents when dropping them on CIFS share

Hi,
Is there a way to take advantage of the "Related Documents" feature while dropping documents on a CIFS share?

Ideally, it would be great if we could do this through Content Rule - Assign documents with same property value as "Related Documents" or if Alfresco would treat rendered versions of a document as "Related Documents".

You could do this with an incoming rule. Rules aren't currently exposed via the Share interface, so you'd need to use the Explorer client to set the rule up.
