How to configure webclient to properly work behind a proxy

We've got a Alfresco PR6 Linux/Tomcat bundle installed and configured.
Now we want to make this application accesable behind a proxy.

So for instance:

http://www.blabla.com/alfresco/

pointing to    http://servername:8080/alfresco

When we start the url  http://www.blabla.com/alfresco  the application starts, but returns from then onward with the hard "url". I.e. every Url starts with  http://servername:8080/alfresco/…..   instead of http://www.blabla.com/alfresco/…..

What do we have to change in the configuration of Alfresco to make it work behind our proxy.

Kind regards,

Alex

Alex,

We are one company within a business campus all using the same network.  I want to do the same thing as you (i.e. make an alfresco  machine available from the web) so I asked the IT guys for the campus. They gave me a Public IP and said that should work on port 80 (normal http traffic), but when I put http://myIP/alfresco it say 'page cannot be displayed'.

Any ideas what I can do?

Thanks,

Aidan

Hi,

Did anyone found solution for this? Instead of typing http://localhost:8080/alfresco, I want to use simple URl like http://alfrescosrv and it should redirect to http://localhost:8080/alfresco.

YOur help is highly appreciated.
