Faceted search page with custom attributes, custom actions and custom indicators

Hello..

Is there already and easy way to show custom properties, custom actions and custom indicators in the search result list in the faceted search?

I have some custom metadata-template, actions and indicators configured for document library, and I would want to reproduce those in the faceted search page.

Does the latest versions of Aikau offer any help on this already?

The main problem is that the Search APIs don't return the complete node metadata by default (compare the JSON response for search with what you get in the Document Library and you'll see what I mean). So the standard APIs won't actually include the configured actions, templates or indicators. Aikau doesn't and isn't going to support the XML templates that you can configure for the Document Library because we want to move away from that approach and because it's much easier to extend the views to include whatever data you require.

When we currently display actions in faceted search we make an XHR request to get the full metadata for the node when you first open the actions menu. We've considered other options for requesting node metadata on demand for additional rendering, but really the first step would be to update the Search APIs to return the full metadata.

This is actually already done in the RM module and I know of other partners/customers that also do this.
