Hello, I am evaluating Alfresco and we are working on a prototype installation for a high-traffic state government site.
My question is, is it possible to set a "timeout" in the approval process, for instance if content is submitted and there are no rejections or approvals within 4 hours, the content goes live?
Thanks,
WLG

Hi !
Sorry, I haven't any answer to your question,
I'm only very interested in the responses you found perhaps somewhere else (by your own or thanks to another forum …) …
Regards
Stéphane

I haven't looked in to this at all but I think it's an interesting question. What came to mind is that Alfresco is based on JBOSS JBPM which has timers. Have you investigated http://docs.jboss.org/jbpm/v3/userguide/jpdl.html#create.timer.element
Assuming this works inside Alfresco you could use the event to take the appropriate action by executing javascript
