Alfresco 4 data migration to Alfresco 5

Hi guys

Currently we have Alfresco community edition 4 and we are planing to make a fresh install in a new server with latest Alfresco version 5

Is there any documented procedure to make a full data backup (documents, database, etc) and restore into Alfresco ? Is it possible ? Is it recommended ?

Hello,

Backup and restore of an Alfresco repository is described in wiki article :
https://wiki.alfresco.com/wiki/Backup_and_Restore

And it is recommended to do a full backup on a regular basis to prevent a failure of the server.
