Want to add custom metadata(or property) for advance search

Hi,

I have a document with metadata like policy number and claim number. I want to customise advance search form to search based on these metadata i.e if user selects policy number from advance search it will search based on policy number.. my requirement is to customise advanced search form based on these metadata. So, i don't know how to add these metadata(or property) in share config property or somewhere else. can anyone help me to customise advance search form i.e in advance search there is a drop down from which user can select claim number or policy number and start searching.
