Set process variable and get the same in BusinessCalendar

My requirement is to set some process variables when process is instantiated and get the same the same variable in my custom BusinessCalendar implementation classes which I am using to set duedate.

Any suggestion would greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Probably need a little more detail.
How are you instantiating the process instance (code, start form, message, signal etc).

Where does your custom business calendar reside and how do you interface with it? (java, service call, rest call, message bus, other).

There are so many options, we need to home in on your specific scenario before offering any alternatives.
