I am part of a team that has been working to upgrade a custom application based off Alfresco with a lot of custom extensions. We have updated from Alfresco 5.2 to 7.4. With the new version search is not finding the component words of delimited text.
e.g., if a document contains "SuperMan", the old version based on 5.2 will find that document when searching for "super" or "man". But the new version will not find the document unless searching on the entire word "superman".
We do have custom fields but have not modified anything about the core schema or how document content is parsed or indexed.
We're not sure if this is occurring because of an indexing problem or a search problem. We've tried a bunch of things to figure out where things are breaking down, but have had no success yet. Has anyone ever seen anything like this, or have any ideas where we might start looking.
