We have the Problem with Activiti 5.21 that we can't enter Strings which are more than 4000 characters long.
It always tells us that data would be truncated in the ACT_HI_DETAIL table.
In this article it says activiti will create an entry in ACT_RE_BYTEARRAY for the bigger Strings to save.

But it does not seem to work.
Do we have to do something to enable this function or do we have to store the variable in a special way to benefit from this?
We use activiti 5.21.0.0 and MSSQL 2016 and above
