Running rule in background for folder not working

Hi,

I am trying to set a rule for folder. While I set the rule, I have kept the run rule in background option on. But the rule is not running automatically in background, and while I try to run it manually it works. I have restarted alfresco services and tomcat server as well. Can someone please help me out on this one.

Can you provide details about rule?On what event you have created rule?what action/task you have selected?

We are facing the same issue. I have created a rule on a folder but it not works when drag and drop a file inside the folder. The rule is used to manage aspect with mandatory properties but once a document is drag and drop, no popup arise. I have to manually run the rule and then I can find the properties in the document. Alfresco version is 23.2 CE. May you please help?
