Hello,
I'm trying to find in the documentation where I can restore the Default admin account that is created when you initially install alfresco. I'm running 5.2 CE on linux.
Someone in our department inadvertently deleted it and it needs to be restored. The issue is that I don't know when it was actually deleted. So it isn't a simple restore the database type situation.

There is no documentation specifically on how to restore a default user because there is no such "special" functionality for this case. You restore a default user by simply using the user management tool (in Share UI) to create a new user with the same name as the default user ("admin" in this case), and that is it.
