We are currently using Activiti 5.18 with Activiti Explorer and Rest WAR files deployed to Tomcat servers. I am investigating Cloud options, maybe something like AWS Lambda.
I am wondering if workflow boundary timers can still function if these WAR files are not deployed, continuously running. Would we still need some form of AppServer running one or both WAR files?
Any alternatives to ensuring that JobExecutor continues to function?
