Increasing Content Store - Updating Properties from Webscript

Hi All,

our contentstore is extremely increasing the last couple weeks, since we created a new site. For this site we have a web application as frontend and nodes are being created/updated from users over java-backed webscripts to the repository. the files are html-files, the content itself is not that big, but the site has a bigger folder structure.

We are using the community edition 5.0.c.

Do you have any recommandations where to look?

My first idea would be to look in your custom web frontend and web scripts. Maybe the way this new site is used is different from any previous site, or you have a previously unnoticed bug which is causing too many nodes to be created...

Anyway, without knowledge of your customisations, it is hard to make any more specific suggestions.
