We now have a float feature on the forums, that I will be testing in the coming days/weeks on Connect to see the behaviour on Categories and Forum boards. The target is obviously to be able to pin a couple of important contents at the top.
Unfortunately there is no equivalent features, meaning that important blog articles like release notes will have to be added in such a pinned forum thread.
