SAML integration is not a responsibility of the AIkau part of the application. It is the responsibility of the server-side servlets / servlet filters to properly process the authentication handshake. Aikau is "just" a library of reusable UI components / services to help buid UIs - it is not a framework to handle all the requirements for an entire web application.
