How to find the size limit on individual comments on a document?

In Alfresco Share, if we edit the document, we see a comments section on the bottom. We can add, edit or delete comments. I was able to put so much text in there.

Is there a size (# of characters or # of bytes) limit to each comment?

I thought I could see in the Alfresco database or something to find out the length. 

But I think this is a blob/clob datatype kind of thing. So, there don't appear to be any limit on each of the comment.

On the other side, since we are allowing users of our application to manage these comments, I was wondering if I have to restrict the size.  

Unless, someone says otherwise, I am going to assume that there is no limit.
