Error trying to delete files in trashcan (permission denied)

I am cleaning my alfresco, I already have many files in the trashcan that I want to delete. Unfortunately when trying to enter the trashcan, an error appears "Error loading items", when reviewing the logs I see the following

Caused by: org.alfresco.repo.security.permissions.AccessDeniedException: 10230397 Access Denied. You do not have the appropriate permissions to perform this operation.

The funny thing is that I am an alfresco administrator and I should have permissions for that. I am using alfresco 4.2.0 Community

Thanks for your answer, but this error is occurring in an alfresco that does not have anything installed yet, only community alfresco 4.2 What could it be?

Can't be really sure if access denied is the root cause, share the full error log (alfresco.log, catalina.out) here for further checks.
