Auditing Extension

The Formtek Auditing Extension records standard Alfresco transactions such as Create, Edit Properties, Update Properties, Checkout, Download, Upload New Version, Move to, Copy to, Manage Permissions, Manage Aspects, Delete Document, and more. Custom actions are also recorded. It also provides Audit History and Workflow History tools via the Share Admin Console allowing administrators to search for audit records or workflow records.

New in release 2.3 for Alfresco 5.1 are the capabilities to:

• Search more quickly with better results due to performance improvements and audit record optimization
• Reset the audit log
• Turn audit logging on/off
• Capture document previews and logins
• Search by custom content type
• Navigate to a returned search item via hyperlink
