Workflow Approval from Email

Hi All,

I want to develope an workflow for approve/reject from the email it self.

By default in alfresco Out of Box we have the approval/reject of content.

Suppose user A assigns user B to approve a document. Then user B logs in to Alfresco and from there he does the approval/reject.

I want to make such that user b will get an email and from there he will either approve/reject it.

Any help pls welcome.

Hi friend , we have the same problem , I hope we can click approve/reject to continue the workflow when we open email and we can click a url to open/download the document.

Write a web script that does your approve / reject / whatever you want.   If its interacting with workflow then it will use either the JS or Java API.

Add the web script's URL to your email message.

That's it.   User clicks on web script.   Web Script runs aon the server and does your buisness logic.

Alternativly on 3.4 there is an expanded web script API for workflow.
