Will Activiti CDI - integration work with JSF 1.1

I have read in the activiti's documentation that Activiti's CDI can be integrated with JSF 2.0. We are stuck with JSF 1.1 as of now, can I use this feature of Activiti CDI integration with JSF 1.1 as well. We are using sun's implementation of JSF.

Has nothing to do with Activiti. If you an use cdi with jsf1.1 then you can use Activiti CDI, if not, sorry.
