Hi
I have a simple question
Does open office and word2003 have to be installed on a user's machine too, in order to be able to use all the plugins? or do they only have to be installed on the machine hosting Alfresco'server and the user can use oppenoffice and word2003 when they edit online?

Regards
Seraphon

Hi,

OpenOffice should be installed on the server for content transformations.

We have produced an add-in for Microsoft Word for the end user to browse the repository and interact with Word. This needs Word installing on the user's machine.
