[URGENT] Upload new version doesn't work

Hi, i use Alfresco 4.0.d and the option "Upload a new version" doesn't work. In IE 9, if I put the navegator mode: IE 8  it works, but doesn't work in the IE 8 with the default navegator mode. Can anyone help me?

In the Internet Explorer 8, the Upload a new version form doesn't open.

I notice that in our supported stacks PDF for 4.x that IE8 is conspicuously absent in the 4.0.0 column which would map to 4.0.d Community.

You might want to download the latest Enterprise version just to see if the problem has been fixed.

If it has, you might be able to find the fix by looking at the Jira and/or the commits to head.

I'm not a Windows user so I have no insight as to the technical details of the problem.

Hello,

the log does not contain any information about a failed upload attempt, only of a SSL connection drop / loss when performing a SOLR query (communication between Repository and SOLR), which is unrelated. With this little information, there is nothing I could suggest. Are you able to perform some basic HTTP logging on your connection to see what is actually reported (if you are not able to find some more information in your log)?

Thank you jpotts and AFaust for the help, but i found the problem.

In my Alfresco, I've disabled the flash upload and the Internet Explorer 8 has a problem with a line that clean a file input in html upload.
