I received a notice from DocuSign today stating that they are deprecating Basic Authentication methods in Sept 2022. Does this impact those of us who use the Integration for DocuSign eSignature module, notably those who leverage the Send on Behalf Of feature?

Just trying to be proactive! Thanks!

Hi
Customers, like you, need to use/update what DocuSign refers to as an “app password”. We will be updating our MRG documentation to reflect this in the next release.
You can continue to use our legacy SOAP based integration by updating the basic authentication password in our system (OnBase) to match the DocuSign “app password”.
This is how you implement App Password usage:
The deadline for everyone to implement this change is currently October to conform with the enforcement schedule noted here: App Password required for new SOAP integrations.
Thanks for asking in our Community!

Hi
Only the user account that is stored in OnBase config will need to generate and use an App Password. If that user previously had Send On Behalf Of rights over other users in the Account, then it still will while using the App Password.
End users will most likely have to do an IIS reset after updating the DocuSign password in OnBase. That will be the only known interruption.
Thanks!
